About Hailey
A brand born out of frustration
Being a biracial woman with uniquely textured hair, Hailey Brown founded Sleek by Hailey after realizing there was a major gap in the hair extension industry for representation of all hair textures. After hearing many stories from other woman about their experience when buying extensions, in addition to her own, she learned that she wasn’t alone in the feeling of being left out or forgotten about when searching for high quality hair extensions in a diverse selection that can compliment her hair.
These frustrations of not being able to easily find a true match in extensions, without compromising the quality, is what created the initial spark for Hailey to create a company that represents women of all hair types and textures.

“I like to be able to style my hair in different ways. Some days I wear my natural curly hair and some days I’m rocking a fresh silk press or have a sew in. Playing around with my hair and using extensions for enhancements has always been something I enjoyed because of all the different styles that can be achieved.
Over the years, I have discovered the many limitations within the hair industry due to a lack in companies that offer high quality hair extensions with a diverse selection of textures and extension types. This is something I personally struggled with: finding a company that provided extensions for all the forms my hair can be. So when I couldn't find one, I decided to create one. Thus Sleek by Hailey was born."
